The projects of Estonian defence industry companies received EUR 6 million from Europe

Seven projects involving the participation of Estonian defence industry companies received EUR 6 million from the European Defence Industrial Development Programme (EDIDP) to develop new technological solutions. The Estonian state is providing almost EUR 500,000 in financing for the projects.

The Estonian Defence and Aerospace Industry Association recognized the most outstanding achievement of the year

This year, for the first time, the Estonian Defence and Aerospace Industry Association chose the Estonian defence industry Award of the Year instead of the defence industry Company of the Year.

In mid-March, Estonian Defence Minister Hanno Pevkur visited the Karlskrona naval base and Saab shipyard together with the Estonian Defence Industry Association and Defence Estonia cluster companies, participated in defence industry business seminars and the swearing-in ceremony of the Estonian Honorary Consul in Karlskrona.

This year, as many as ten Estonian companies have already joined the Estonian Defence and Aerospace Industry Association
